J U D G M E N T

Heard both sides.

2. This writ appeal is directed against the interim direction given by the learned single Judge in W.P.(MD)No.2598 of 2024 vide order dated 10.01.2025.

3. The writ petition was filed by one Anbarasu seeking initiation of enquiry against the appellant and another officer. The allegation of the writ petitioner is that the proceedings dated 30.01.2014 issued by the Principal Secretary, Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai on which the appellant placed reliance is a fake order.

4. All that the learned single Judge directed is that the enquiry should be conducted in that regard and nothing else. The defences of the appellant have not been foreclosed. We are of the view that this writ appeal may not be maintainable. Leaving open all the defences of the appellant, this writ appeal stands dismissed. The interim order granted in this writ appeal is vacated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
