O R D E R

This petition is filed to modify the condition that the petitioner shall report at any police station within the jurisdiction of Thoothukudi instead of Dindigul North Town Police Station in connection with Cr.M.P.No.2064 of 2018, dated 02.11.2018 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram.

2.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent.

3.While granting bail, the learned Judge imposed a condition that the petitioner was directed to appear before the Dindigul Town North Police Station, daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a permanent resident of Thoothukudi District. The distance between Thoothukudi to Dindigul is more than 300 kms and involved a journey time seven https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hours. Since the petitioner suffered irreparable loss and hardship, he could not able to appear before the Dindigul Town Police Station.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the Thoothukudi south police station daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders. Hence, this petition is ordered accordingly.
