PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to take necessary action to return the original documents to the petitioner with regard to the mortgage deed registered in favour of the 2nd respondent in the Doc.No. 2822/2003, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2025, within a stipulated time may be fixed by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to take necessary action to return the original documents to the petitioner with regard to the mortgage deed registered in favour of the second respondent by considering the petitioner's representation datd 02.11.2025.

2. The petitioner has mortgaged his property and obtained loan from the second respondent. Even though the entire loan amount has been cleared, the second respondent has so far not returned the documents. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has received written instructions to the effect that within a period of two months, the documents would be returned to the writ petitioner.

4. Recording the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to return the original documents to the petitioner on on or before 15.04.2026. 2/4

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
