PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioners daughter namely Haripriya, aged about 21 years, D/o.Velayudham before this Honble Court and set her at liberty For Petitioner : Mr.A.V.Arun For Respondent : Mrs.S.Bharathi No.1 and 2 Government Advocate(Crl.Side)

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioners daughter namely Haripriya, aged about 21 years, D/o.Velayudham before this Honble Court and set her at liberty.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner in respect of her missing of her daughter, proceedings has been initiated in CSR No.48 of 2020 and during enquiry she has stated that she fell in love with one Muthukumaran https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1603 of 2020 aged about 21 years and she is studying B.E(ECE) in Sethu Engineering College and she was in love with one Muthukumaran, her classmate. She would also submit that since her parents objected her love, she had eloped with him on 22.01.2019 and thereafter she had decided to marry her. The petitioner was directed to appear before the respondent on 23.01.2019 and the same was informed to the petitioner. The petitioner also agreed not to interfere with her marriage. Hence the petition was closed.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
