ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned proceedings dated 01.01.2026 and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducing 'Kabadi Game' on 25.01.2026 at 08.00 p.m., to 26.01.2026 at 08.00 a.m., in the Church Ground, Idaiyankulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. The respondents cannot grant permission for conducting the "Kabadi Game" on 26.01.2026, as it falls on Republic Day. However, the respondents shall consider any other date and time in the month of February 2026. On such event, the respondents are directed to grant necessary permission and provide protection for conducting the "Kabadi Game".

3. With these directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. 22.01.2026 KSA Note : Issue a copy of order on 04.02.2026 2/4
