ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 420, 120(b) IPC and Section 5 of TNPID Act in Cr.No.1 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner and other accused are employees of the Chit Company and they have collected a sum of Rs.78,100/- as subscription amount. However, they failed to return the said amount. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he is an innocent person.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that there are totally 154 victims and total amount cheated by the accused is Rs.1,64,31,870/-. He would further submit that till date no amount was recovered and that the co-accused filed anticipatory bail petition before this Court, however, this Court dismissed the same.
