The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the property situate in S.No.33/7 with an extent of 0.16.0 Hectares, 40 Cents situated at Kanchipatti Village, Kalayarkoil Taluka, Kalayarkoil Sub-Division, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 05.10.2020 and 10.01.2022.

2. Heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, he claims right over the subject property under a registered sale deed executed by his father dated 10.12.2018. Since there was a boundary dispute between the petitioner and his neighbours, the petitioner submitted an application on 05.10.2020, requesting the respondents to survey the property covered by the settlement deed. He also remitted necessary fees of Rs.800/- for survey of the land. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted a similar representation on 10.01.2022, making a request for survey of the land and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come 2/4

before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2020 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and his neighbouring land owners.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
