ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to proceed with the preliminary enquiry and investigate on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 11.04.2019 filed under Section 156(3) of Criminal Procedure Code before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri, Tirunelveli District in accordance with the Chapter XII of Code of the Criminal Procedure 1973 and file the final report within the time limited by law pursuant to the direction as made in Cr.M.P.No.1289 of 2019, dated 21.11.2019.

Crl.O.P.[MD].No.1731 of 2020 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order passed by the learned Magistrate was received by the respondent police only on 17.02.2020 and that the respondent police will complete the enquiry within two weeks.
4.In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed with a direction to the first respondent police to complete the enquiry and file final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
