O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to issue fresh passport to the writ petitioner based upon his application dated 31.12.2025 and representation dated 23.01.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.442 of 2022 on the file of second respondent which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in S.T.C.No.3046 of 2025 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichy.

3. Considering the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of 2/4

within a period of four weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the learned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
