This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.293 of 2017 on the file of respondent in accordance with law.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that though the case has been registered on 22.08.2017, the respondent police have not chosen to file a charge sheet and therefore he seeks a direction to the respondent poloice to file a charge sheet within a stipulated time.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the respondent police would complete the investigation and file a charge sheet within three months.
4.Recording the said submission, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
