The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners had filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction against the Respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the Petitioners and their family members under the guise of enquiry.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the enquiry is pending in C.No.301/G5 DCBMDU/2023 dated 24.11.2023 and the guidelines of the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai -4 in Rc.No.892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021 and the circular of the Additional Director General of Police, Chennai, issued in C.No.18/ADGP/L & O/Camp/2024 dated 09.01.2024 issued to the Field Officers throughout the State had been followed in this case. He would further submit that the Respondent Police will follow the said circular and act accordingly. 2/4
