PRAYER in CRL MP(MD). No.868 of 2020 :- To extend the time for surrender of the petitioner before the Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai, Sivagangai District in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.241 of 2020 dated 08/01/2020 in connection with crime No.216/2019 on the file of the respondent police and furnishing PRAYER in CRL MP(MD). No.867 of 2020 :- To modify the conditions of Anticipatory Bail granted to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.241 of 2020 on the file of this court in so far as payment of Rs.60,000/- as non refundable deposit to the credit of the concerned District Minerals Found in concerned. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.241 of 2020 COMMON ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 08.01.2020. He was directed to remit a sum of Rs.60,000/- as non refundable deposit. The petitioner's counsel points out that the vehicle in this case was seized and it has been directed to be released on payment of Rs.1,00,000/-. The vehicle is in the name of Ashok Kumar. The petitioner/Gunasekaran herein is said to have taken the vehicle on lease. Therefore, the petitioner is obliged to reimburse the said Ashok Kumar. It appears that because of the inability to mobilise the funds the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- is yet to be deposited. The petitioner's counsel states that paying a further sum of Rs.60,000/- as a condition for anticipatory bail will cause onerous burden on him.

The petitioner is not having any previous case. Therefore, taking note of the circumstances pleaded by the petitioner's counsel, the condition is to deposit a sum of Rs.60,000/- is deleted. The petitioner is given two more weeks to execute the sureties from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
