ORDER:- The Court made the following order:- The petitioner is Accused No.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.07.2022, for the offences punishable under Section 8(C),22(C), 25 and 29

(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.489 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on receipt of the secret information on 09.07.2022 at about 7.45 am, the respondent police along with team of police party went to Karur Vanjamman Kovil near Amaravathi river bed and found the accused persons in possession of the contraband. The contraband was recovered and the present case was registered.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that discharge application has been filed by the petitioner and stated to be pending. It is further submitted that a direction may be issued to the trial Court to complete the trial by considering the period of incarceration.

4. Let the petitioner approach the concerned Court with the request. If it is not considered, then he can move appropriate application for appropriate relief. 2/3
