PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.570 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent police to any other independent agency or officer to persue the investigation. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.570 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent police to any other independent agency or officer to persue the investigation.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that with great difficulty the petitioner got registered the First Information Report on 11.08.2019. Thereafter the respondents are very lethargic in their duty and they have not conducted investigation in a proper manner, thereby he seeks for transfer of investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that investigation has been done in a fair manner and if the petitioner is not satisfied with the investigation , direction may be issued to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rural, Dindigul District to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent. She would submit that direction may also be issued to complete the investigation within a period of three months.

4. In view of the same, the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rural, Dindigul District shall monitor the investigation done by the second respondent.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
