ORDER

Seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to transfer the investigation to the 3rd respondent and in Crime No.600 of 2025 dated 24.11.2025 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent, this criminal original petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that his Tempo Ashok Leyland Dost bearing Registration No.TN41AS4312 purchased in the year 2020 was stolen on 23.11.2025. In this regard, complaint was lodged and F.I.R in Crime No.600 of 2025 was registered for the offence under Section 303(2) of BNS, 2023. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that F.I.R was registered on 24.11.2025 and the vehicle was stolen by an unknown person. The respondent police has taken steps to find out the vehicle and a special team was also formed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and apprise the 1st respondent the progress of the investigation every Friday. Further the the 1st respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the 2nd respondent.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
