Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 406, 294(b) and 506(ii) of I.P.C., and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime NO.13 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused demanded 20 sovereign of gold jewels and one lakh as additional dowry and also harassed her.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that as per direction of this Court, the first petitioner appeared before the Mediation Centre, but the de-facto complainant did not turn up. It is further submitted that the first petitioner has already filed H.M.O.P.No.72 of 2015 before the Sub-Court, Ramanathapuram for divorce against the de-facto complainant and after institution of the case, the present complaint was given with an ulterior motive. 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions.

6.Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram and on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the first petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders and the petitioners No.2 to 4 shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C.
