O R D E R

It is seen that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.13 of 2018 has been registered by Ganesh Nagar Police Station, Pudukkottai for the offences under Sections 120-B, 420, 465, 468, 471, 447 I.P.C. r/w 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 against one Veeramani and five others. It is the case of the petitioner that a false document has been registered by the first accused Veeramani in collusion with the Sub Registrar and therefore, the petitioner, who gave a complaint dated 12.02.2018 to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anticorruption, Pudukkottai has filed the present petition for a direction to register the F.I.R.

2.Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3.In view of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt., Ltd., represented by its Director Rajendra Sheth No.7C, Second Canal Cross Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Chennai-600 020 vs. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, J-2, Adyar Police Station, Adyar, Chennai-600 020 and another, reported in 2016 (2) CTC 286, this petition is not maintainable. That apart, on the same allegations, Ganesh Nagar Police have registered a case and are conducting investigation in Crime No.13 of 2018. Therefore, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Wing, Pudukkottai cannot be directed to register a parallel F.I.R. against the Sub-Registrar.

4.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed.
