ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 & 6 to give proper police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's complaints dated 22.02.2018 and 19.03.2018.

2. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 6.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has received the bundle.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that an enquiry was conducted on the petitioner's petition and the same has been closed.

5. Since the matter is pending from March 2018 in which, the prayer sought for is one seeking protection to the petitioner's life and limb, this Court on its own went through the petition.

6. On going through the petition, it appears that there is some money dispute between the petitioner and other party.

7. The present petition is filed exactly one year ago and it is not known whether same degree of threat perception presently continues or not. However, if even now the petitioner is under any real threat to his life, limb and liberty, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation before the fifth respondent. On receipt of the fresh representation, the fifth respondent is directed to cause an enquiry on the same and take an appropriate decision as may be necessary to accord police protection to the life, limb and liberty of the petitioner. The said decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation to be given by the petitioner.
