ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A2 in Crime No.140 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.03.2015, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) r/s 4(1-A) of TNP Act and hence, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner found in possession of 44 Bottles of liquor in two Brands.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that as per the confession of first accused, he has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioners.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi, and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily 10.00 am until further orders.
