ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondent Police.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the mediation report dated 08.12.2014 is produced stating that the matter has been settled amicably along with the settlement agreement, in which, both the petitioners and the second respondent/defacto complainant and also their respective counsel signed.
4. Taking into consideration of the mediation report and the settlement agreement dated 18.12.2014, all further proceedings in Crime.No.68 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent police shall stand quashed. The mediation report and the settlement agreement shall form part of the record.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
