This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 26.02.2018 and take necessary action within a time frame.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint preferred by the petitioner has been registered in Crime No.5 of 2018, on 27.03.2018, for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 498-A and 420 IPC., r/w Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, on the file of the second respondent police.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
