O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police not to harass the petitioners pursuant to the false complaint lodged by respondents 3 and 4.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the respondents No.3 and 4 borrowed a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- from the 1st petitioner and agreed to repay the same after 15 days. On repeated demand by the 1st petitioner, the 3rd respondent issued a cheque to the 1st petitioner for the said amount and the same was returned as "Payment stopped by Drawer". Hence, the 1st petitioner sent a statutory notice to the 3rd respondent. Therefore, with an ill intention the 3rd respondent, misusing his official capacity has lodged a complaint before the 1st respondent and the 1st respondent threatened the petitioners as he will register a case under the Exorbitant Interest Act and harassing the petitioner. Hence this petition has been filed.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that on the complaint given against the petitioners, petition enquiry was conducted and FIR has been registered and no harassment was made out by the respondents, as alleged by the petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition is disposed of.
