Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 2nd respondnet Joint Director Pa.Mu.O. 2525/EE2/2014 dated 30.04.2014 and quash the same in so far as it denies approval to the appointment of Rev. Sr. A.Nirmala Devi as Assistant Professor in Education in the petitioner's college for the period from 20.11.2013 to 04.02.2014 and further direct the Joint Director to give approval forthwith for the said period with continuity of service and all other attendanta benefits. ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.RAGATHEESH KUMAR, Advocate for M/S.ISAAC CHAMBERS, for the petitioner and of Mr.D.SADIQ RAJA, Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 329 days in representing the W.A.(MD)SR.No.5148 of 2023.
2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is inclined to order this petition by putting the petitioner on terms.
3. In the result, this petition is ordered subject to the condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) to the Advocates Clerk Association, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from today. After receipt of the payment, Registry is directed to number the Writ Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same "for admission" in the usual course.
