The present petition is filed to direct the the 2nd respondent herein, to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.894 of 2016 pending on the file of the second respondent and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in Crime No.894 of 2016 has been completed and charge sheet has been laid before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, which was taken on file in C.C.No.70 of 2018. Therefore, nothing survives in this Criminal Original Petition.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
