ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC in Crime No.36 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has illegally transported 18 bags of river sand (each contains 50kgs) by using Motor Cycle bearing Registration No.TN-75-K-1788. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has illegally transported 18 bags of river sand (each contains 50kgs) and there is no previous case is pending him.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the quantity of sand involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
