ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the wife of a deceased employee of the respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus to pay the difference amount of the petitioner's husband retirement benefits such as Wages, Pension arrears, Gratuity and leave salary based upon the 14th wage settlement along with 6% interest per annum.

2. A perusal of the records reveals that the husband of the petitioner died, while he was in service on 01.07.2020.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner's husband is eligible to receive the benefits under the 14th wage settlement. Therefore, she has sent a representation on 04.01.2025. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondents are directed to release the eligible benefits to the petitioner along with 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
