This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register the case on the complaint given by the petitioner on 04.03.2018 in CSR No.46 of 2018 and to investigate the matter within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.78 of 2018, for the offence punishable under Sections 147 and 379 I.P.C., on the file of the first respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
