ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 120B, 406, 420 & 506(2) of IPC, in Crime No.9 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant wanted money for the purpose of running his business. At that point of time, the accused persons approached the defacto complainant and promised that if he invest money it will be doubled. Believing the same, the defacto complainant some how arranged a sum of Rs.89,50,000/- and this amount was handed over. Later, the money was not repaid back and the defacto complainant was cheated in this case. There are totally 10 accused persons in this case (8 accused persons at the stage of FIR and 2 accused persons added subsequently) and the petitioner has been arrayed as A2 and she is the wife of A1.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner is now six months pregnant. The same is taken into consideration and there shall be a direction to the respondent police to follow the procedure adumbrated under Section 35 of BNSS and call the petitioner for enquiry as and when required. The petitioner shall attend the enquiry and shall cooperate for the investigation.
