This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.08.2017 and further representation to the second respondent dated 15.12.2017 as well as to the first respondent on 14.02.2018 and to take appropriate action against the accused as per law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.174 of 2018, for the offence punishable under Section 380 I.P.C., on the file of the second respondent police. 3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
