ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to correct the mistake in the UDR Patta and Natham Nillavari Thitta Thooya Adangal Register based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2021, relating to the property situated in Thoothukudi District, Srivaikundam Taluk, Keelaputhaneri Village, Survey No.154/45, to an extent of 45.80 cents.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
3. According to the petitioner, the said mistake is administrative in nature and that the respondents are legally bound to consider the representation on merits and in accordance with law.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other persons who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
