This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a 1/3

direction to the fourth respondent to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2020.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 10.03.2021, the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) submitted that based on the representation given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.240 of 2020 was registered against the respondents 5 to 9 herein. However, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner and hence, this case was adjourned to today i.e., 27.04.2021. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for default.
