O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a sanitary worker working in the third respondent Town Panchayat, seeking to quash the order of his suspension dated 04.07.2022.

2. A perusal of the suspension order reveals that the petitioner has been placed under suspension for being implicated in a criminal case in Crime No. 439 of 2020, on the file of the Peraiyur Police Station.

3. According to the petitioner, he has placed under suspension for more than two years. He has given a request for reinstatement in service.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is under suspension for more than two years, due to matrimonial dispute, this Court is inclined to direct the authorities to review the order of his suspension dated 04.07.2022. 2/4

5. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to review the order of suspension dated 04.07.2022, in the light of Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.81, Human Resources Management (N) Department dated 04.08.2022 and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 04.11.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gvn 3/4
