ORDER

The petitioner lodged a complaint on 24.02.2024 seeking police protection. Since no action has been taken on the same, the petitioner has filed this petition.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that in this case, on the complaint of the petitioner the case has been received in C.S.R.No.113 of 2024 against the third and fourth respondents, who are none other than the petitioner's son and daughter-in-law. The petitioner is in occupation and enjoyment of a Government land to an extent of 30 cents. The third and fourth respondents advised the petitioner to hand over the encroached land to them. But the petitioner was not willing to do so. Therefore, there have been some misunderstanding between the family and the case has been lodged. The petitioner is now turning against the officials as though they are harassing the petitioner. Further, the complaint of the petitioner is now forwarded to the Tahsildar, Uthamapalayam to have a peace committee meeting and the respondent police have got no role in this case. 2/4
