Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2022 seeking issuance of separate patta to his above said father's legal heirs in respect of the landed property in Survey Nos.172/6A and 172/6B situated at Agaramangudi, Thanjavur District.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent / the Tahsildar, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District, to consider representation dated 07.01.2022 and grant separate patta to the petitioner / Paramasivam and also to Selvaraj, Ilavalagan, Karikalan, Usha, Ratchitham and Vanmathi, who are all legal heirs of Kulandaivel. The petitioner had stated that separate patta may be granted to all of them.

2. Heard Mr.J.John Rajadurai, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. A direction is issued to the second respondent / the Tahsildar, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District, to issue notice to the petitioner / Paramasivam and also to the aforementioned persons https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.2058 of 2022 namely, Selvaraj, Ilavalagan, Karikalan, Usha, Ratchitham and Vanmathi, and examine the documents, examine the said individuals and thereafter, proceed to do the needful. The Tahsildar, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District, may complete the entire exercise within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Necessary application through online must also be filed by each one of the aforementioned persons and they must also pay necessary charges.

4. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
