ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has made a representation on 28.12.2020 seeking permission for conducting Jallikattu, scheduled to be held on 28.02.2021.
2. Though the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the proposed place has not been notified, we are inclined to direct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.2021 of 2021 the fourth respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after getting recommendations from the first respondent.
3. We make it clear that inasmuch as such a permission is given by the fourth respondent, it may not be possible to conduct the Jallikattu programme this year.
