O R D E R

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to the 1st respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.568 of 2017 dated 31.12.2017, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on 28.12.2017, when the petitioner was loading the 'Seemai Karuvelam Trees' in Tractor, the accused persons abused the petitioner using filthy language and caste name. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police and FIR has been registered in Crime No.568 of 2017. So far, final report has not been filed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the investigation is in progress and three months time may be granted for filing a final report.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
