This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and to provide adequate police protection for conducting village level Fed light Kabadi Tournament to be held on 27.04.2018 at about 8.00 p.m to 28.04.2018 at about 10.00 p.m in Agalanganallur, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2018.
2.Heard the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.
3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 13.04.2018 to the second respondent to grant permission and to provide adequate police protection for conducting village level Fed light Kabadi Tournament to be held on 27.04.2018 at about 8.00 p.m to 28.04.2018 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
at about 10.00 p.m in Agalanganallur, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District. Since no order is passed, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the representation of the petitioner is still pending and therefore, this Court may pass order to consider the said representation on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, without going into merits, this court directs the second respondent to consdier the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 25.04.2018.
