O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the case and file a charge sheet in respect of case registered in Crime No.285 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent police within time limit prescribed by this Court. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint against the accused Ammasi, Mookkiah, Samivel, Rasu, Sundaram, Urumanan, Theivendran, Alagar and others before the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.285 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 447, 427 and 506(i) IPC. So far, Charge Sheet has not been filed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the investigation is in progress and three months time may be granted for filing a Charge Sheet.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a Charge Sheet, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
