ORDER

The petitioner is the defendant in O.S.No.127 of 2014 before the District Munsif Court, Aundipatti, Theni District. The respondent has filed the said suit for a permanent injunction restraining the petitioner from interfering with the respondent's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit property. The petitioner has already filed O.S.No.117 of 2006 before the District Munsif Court, Aundipatti, seeking injunction, which has been decreed on 17.04.2009 itself and the same has become final.

2.The petitioner submits that the pleadings were completed in O.S.No.127 of 2014 as early as on 22.10.2018 and that on 26.11.2020 the said suit was dismissed for default and subsequently, the same was restored to file on 11.07.2022 and from the said date onwards, the respondent is dragging on the suit proceedings. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned District Munsif, Aundipatti, Theni, to expedite the disposal of O.S.No.127 of 2014.

3.Considering the fact that the suit is of the year 2014, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif, Aundipatti, Theni District, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.127 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This Civil Revision Petition stands allowed with the above direction. No costs.
