O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police,Town South Police Station, Thanjavur to expedite the investigation in Crime No.319 of 2012, dated 01.11.2012 and to file a Final Report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint against his brother before the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.319 of 2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468 and 471 IPC. So far, final report has not been filed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that after the investigation, the F.I.R has been closed as further action dropped on 02.11.2012.

5.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
