PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of certiorari calling for records from the file of the respondent herein in his summon No.CB/TRY/ENF/D3/81709/7A Summon/2023-2024 dated 03.11.2023 under failure to comply with the provisions of the schemes of the EPF & MP Act, 1952 to the tune of Rs.7,40,873/- for the period from 01/2019 to 06/2022 and to quash the same.

ORDER

The summon issued under Section 7A of the Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provident Funds Act to quantify the demand is challenged in this writ petition.

2.When this writ petition has been taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel on either side submits that the authority has already passed an order under Section 7 A of the Act and the petitioner has also challenged the same before the appellate tribunal.

3. In view of the subsequent developments, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
