ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to measure the land and to issue separate patta in the petitioner's name and her relative name Mohammed Fathima by sub-dividing the properties in S.F.No. 139/2B measuring about 30 1/3 cents situated in Andikkadu Village Panchayat, Sethubavachathiram Panchayat, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District and S.F.No.140/1 measuring about 3 cents situated in Andikkadu Village Panchayat, Sethubavachathiram Panchayat, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2024. 2/5

2.Mrs.K.Christy Theboral, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

According to the petitioner, she has made a representation dated 13.01.2024 to the respondents for issuance of separate patta in the name of her and her relative Mohammed Fathima, after measuring the subject matter properties. Since the said representation has not been considered, she filed the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law by the respondents. 3/5

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
