ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the official respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner has moved this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3186 of 2019, wherein since the matter arises out of matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife / Kavipriya, this Court referred the matter to Mediation and the same is pending.

4. Be that as it may, based on the complaint preferred by the petitioner's wife / Kavipriya, the second respondent is harassing the petitioner presumably at the instance of the third respondent.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the second respondent has never harassed the petitioner and nor interested in harassing him. He further submitted that the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is not true.

6. The statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded.

7. If at all the second respondent required the presence of the petitioner for interrogation or for enquiry, the same shall be done by issuing summons mentioning specific date and time for enquiry and during enquiry, there shall not be harassment.

8. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
