ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.2, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act in Crime No.10 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to love affair between the first accused and the defacto complainant, the maternal uncle of the first accused approached the defacto complainant and started to abuse her in filthy language and assaulted her and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.1526 of 2023 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the petitioner is arrayed as the second accused in this case and he is having 6 previous cases to his credit. Hence, he prays for dismissal of this application.

5.Heard. Perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
