Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the first respondent to withdraw the Cr.No.80 of 2014 on the file of the third respondent and entrust the same to the second respondent to conduct fair investigation under the supervision of the first respondent and file a final report within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner has moved this application for change the investigating agency of the case in Crime No.80 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 468 and 420 IPC.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the case was pending before the Mayiladumparai Police Station, Theni District.

Thereafter, the Investigating Agency was changed and the third respondent was entrusted with the responsibility of investigating the case even affecting the headway. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the investigation of this case has been completed and the respondent police are in the process of laying final report before the concerned Magistrate.

4. Considering the above submission, the second respondent is now directed to personally go through the nature of the investigation that has been made and also to ensure that the third respondent lays the final report before the concerned Magistrate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
