ORDER

When the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.V.O.S.Kalaiselvam, learned counsel for the petitioner represented that the very dispute that arise for consideration in the present writ petition has been subject matter of a settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 vide settlement dated 05.06.2024. In view of the same, he submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive any more.

2. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is closed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22.04.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes ABR
