ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the order of this Court in WP.(MD)No.6061 of 2024 dated 30.07.2024, has not been complied with.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that as against the order passed by this Court in WP.(MD)No.6061 of 2024, a writ appeal in WA. (MD)No.613 of 2025 has been filed before the Division Bench of this Court and by an order dated 14.03.2025, Division Bench has also granted an interim stay.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said writ appeal has in fact allowed by a judgment dated 16.07.2025, however, with a direction to complete the disciplinary proceedings within a period of six months. 2/4

3.This contempt petition has been filed that the order of this Court in WP.(MD)No.6061 of 2024 dated 30.07.2024 has not been complied with. This Court, in the said writ petition, directed the respondents to provide promotion to the petitioner. However, the same has been rejected by the Division Bench of this Court. In the event, if the petitioner is having any grievance that the disciplinary proceedings is not completed within a stipulated period, it is open to him to file a contempt application before the Division Bench. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. Consequently, connected sub applications are also closed.
