O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the Petitioner's complaint, dated 07.08.2017, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 376, 406, 498-A, 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that after investigation, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed on 05.02.2018 at CSR stage. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach appropriate forum to work out his remedy.

4. Recording the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
