This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 19.11.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that though the petitioner received summons, he did not cooperate with the investigation. Hence, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed as 'action dropped'. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach appropriate forum to work out his remedy.

4. Recording the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
