O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent Police not to harass the petitioner and petitioner's younger son namely Ranjith Kumar in the guise of enquiry without any valid complaint.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.Today, when the case was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a copy of the counter affidavit filed by the second respondent, wherein, at paragraph 5 it is stated as follows:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ "The petitioner is not harassed by any Police Official in the name of enquiry. But it is the

bounden duty of the petitioner to appear before the Police Station and give cordial co-operation to find out the missing daughter of Chitra and disposed the above said pending Habeas Corpus Petition. The petitioner was not harassed, but with the intention to escape from the enquiry, she filed this Petition. Hence, it is liable to be dismissed."

4.Therefore, the petitioner has to appear for enquiry as and when required by the respondents and recording the counter affidavit on the side of the second respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
